Statement.. Mission..Philosophy.. Beliefs..
We
are a Native American ministry with a vision to see Unity within the Body of
Christ through the bond of love. Coming together as one with Yeshua (Jesus)
bringing all nations, all tribes, and all tongues into perfect unity so the
world will know the Father sent Him(John 17).
Sacred Hoop Ministries is dedicated to doing our part in the Kingdom of God
by working in the ministry of repentance, forgiveness, reconciliation and
healing. We call this mending the Sacred Hoop because our ancient Native
American prophecies spoke of unity that would occur with Creator being at
the center binding us to Him.
We strive, through walking and speaking in love, to bring unity in the Body
of Jesus Christ while bridging cultural gaps and bringing the Gospel and
discipleship through evangelism in a culturally understandable way to the
world through indigenous music, prayer & teaching based on the Living Word
of God, The Bible.
We believe in one God-The Creator. There are three parts that make up this one God.
1) The Father (Yahweh), Hesaketvmvse
(Giver of Breath) who formed man with His hands. (Gen 2:7)
2) The Son (Yashua) Chief Cornerstone,
Bright Morning Star, Jesus, The Word-through whom all things were created (John 1:1-4) Who was born of the virgin Mary, became flesh and dwelt among us, and was crucified for our sins, rose again, and through Him we are reconciled to the Father.
3) The Holy Spirit (Ruach Hakodesh) -
Opia Uholi (Sacred Spirit) The power and breath of God which He gives to those who ask since the day of Pentecost (John 14:6)
We believe that Yeshua (Jesus), the only begotten Son of God died for our sins and is our Savior. We believe in walking and living in the power of the Holy Spirit. Ephesians (1:13) We do not worship or pray to anything or anyone other than, the One true God.
The Creator has planted it in our hearts to point others to Him through our words, our music, our cultures and all that we do. He has led us to speak out and encourage forgiveness and reconciliation which brings Unity in the Body of Christ. Unity in the Body of Christ is what causes the world to see that Yeshua (Jesus) was sent from the Father (John 17). We believe in being true to what the Lord created us to be while "being all things to all people" as written by the Apostle Paul.
Between the individual and the Creator;
Between Indigenous and non-indigenous peoples worldwide;
Between the Nations of Turtle Island
