About Us

First and foremost, we are servants of Chief Cornerstone Yeshua, the Ultimate Holy Man and Go-Between. We strive to bring the Gospel in a way that is culturally understandable to indigenous and non-indigenous people throughout the world with biblical teaching, music and prayer.

The Creator called us into music ministry as well and the name of our band - The Blessed Blend - is indicative of the music we sing in that our music reflects the blending or marriage of both the Native and Celtic cultures. We both share and identify with the Native American (Creek, Cherokee, Choctaw, Taino) and Celtic (Roscommon Irish, Clan McDonald Scotland, and Galician heritage in our family history. We love playing our traditional music for the Lord with our flutes, drums (hand drum and Celtic bodhran), bagpipes and the Celtic harp as well as singing (powwow - northern and southern styles, Celtic) and dancing.

Joseph - Is a Arawakan Taino Indian with an ancestral root from Galicia (The Land of the Gaelic People). His father was a pastor for over 30 years and the rest of his family is full of musicians of various styles. He has been performing since he was four years old, when his father gave him his first flute.  Joseph grew up playing the flute, singing, dancing, and storytelling carrying on the tradition of his Taino people. He served in the U.S. Army  and went on to graduate from Mercer University with a Bachelors in Social Sciences.

Joseph is a vocalist and plays various Native Flutes, bagpipes, Native Drums, tin whistle, & bodhran.  He is also an educator, traditional storyteller, songwriter, dancer, actor and most importantly a servant of the Lord. Our ministry has a passion for seeing Unity in the Body of Christ and a restoration of the voices of indigenous people in proclaiming the Gospel back to the Nations that brought the Word to  the First Nations people.

Laralyn - Laralyn is Cherokee/Creek/Irish/Scottish. She is the daughter of missionaries, Lew & Mariesa Davis, who are currently in Cochabamba, Bolivia serving the Lord with Missionary Ventures International. Her younger years were spent on the reservation.  When she was a teenager she was pastored by Dr. Fuschia Pickett while her father attended Bible college.  Upon his graduation their family moved to the Marshall Islands where Laralyn served as a 6th grade missionary teacher to the indigenous people there.

She returned to the United States to attend college and has graduated from Valdosta State University with a BA of Science & Biology.  Her passion is love and intimate knowledge of her Lord and helping others to experience the same while promoting unity in the Body of Christ through growth in agapeo love, forgiveness, and spiritual maturity.
